PLUM DELITE - Optrimax

Sorry for being away too long guys, have been very busy lately especially with work. But here I am again, inspired to blog and share my story....

I have started this Optrimax Plum Delite detox the first reason is of course for detoxification.... for health and wellness, next reason is for the summer.... oh yeah we all want to be fit and stylish during our summer vacation =)

SO, you might be wondering why plum? It give lots of benefit like other fruit does but let me simply say because plum is a good source of fiber.

What makes plum delite so special and effective? Well it's because Plum Delite is a pickled plum with probiotics, green tea and pu-er tea mix

What are probiotics? It improves intestinal functions for effective detoxification. Helps in minimizing beauty and  health problems.

What is pu-er tea? This kind of tea is used way back in China during Tang dynasty (618 AD-906 AD) because it is known for its many benefits like reducing cholesterol in the blood stream, prevents heart and liver diseases by detoxifying the liver and preventing the formation of cancer cells because of its anti-oxidant properties.

I will be blogging about the results and of course the details that I will be experiencing.

The packaging even looks sexy don't you agree (^^,)
It contains 10 pieces of plum. Which mean it is good for 10 days.

The result and quantity to be consumed depends on the person and his/ her body's reaction to the plum.

Don't forget to drink lots of water when taking the plum detox, to help aid flushing out the unwanted stuffs in our body.

Here's a closer look...

It is said to take 1 piece of Plum after you have eaten your lunch or dinner.
For really noticeable result take the plum detox for a month

*If you are interested to take the plum detox, comment here and I will get back to you =)

Parisian shoes from SM dept. store

Philips blower w/c I found inside my mirror stand drawer

The Bare Me Not scent reminds me the smell of our hotel room in Hong Kong that's why I chose it =)

I just really like its color
and it doesn't feel heavy

Myra Facial Moisturizer w/ SPF 15
with bits of glittery stuffs, but not too noticeable =)
don't wanna feel like a Twilight character under the sun or do you?

Mom bought this to cover her gray hair

Eating healthy

This may sound cliche but for me I would never get tired of hearing
 "Health is Wealth"    (^^,)

Many of us likes to eat at fast foods like the regulars: McDonald's, Jollibee, Wendy's, KFC, oh yeah you name it sounds delish right? The more classy ones like: BonChon, Karate Kid, Red ribbon, Sbarro and so on....

It doesn't kill (sorry for the term can't think of a word to sub right now) for us to eat at these food establishments once in a while, but it may be one of the cause for our health to deteriorate in the long run.

I personally am thankful for personal life experiences, third party stories that mirrors our lives. Some of my dear relatives, loves to eat street foods, junk foods and eat out most of the time. That even without any vices like smoking, drinking or sleeping late, sadly those relatives of mine have different medical conditions. Some of them have to intake prescriptions or undergo medical procedure. I learn from them, I see them as motivations as an inspiration to know more and live a healthy lifestyle.

Am not saying that I don't get sick and that I'm super healthy or have a sexy fit body. Right now I'm just pretty motivated and inspired by those people around me, most of them eating and using organic stuffs. They are not just helping themselves but also our environment and that's what hitting two birds with one stone is like (^~,) I do eat sweets, chips, ice creams, pizza, buffets and all the yummy foods you can name; but I eat them in moderation. Like once or twice a week.

Walking is basically my form of exercise, I ride the jeep and walk like 15-20 minutes to the office =)
And sometimes when I'm not tired or it's my day off I would do simple exercise in my room. It saves me a lot of money than going to the gym.

I use some organic beauty and personal products, which I recommended to my relatives and I'm proud to say that they patronize those products which I do sell to them.

Here is an example of a meal that I eat:
Wheat bread, sunny side up with pepper, romaine salad and hash brown.

Yep, my salad has it's yummy dressing and I don't regret eating it because first it's yummy and secondly yummy + healthy foods is what's keeping me stay on track with my moderately healthy lifestyle =)

I put lots of pepper in the yolk area because some eggs doesn't taste ummm that fresh? (that's for me, you know what might work for me may not work for you and vice versa =)

Another peek at my plate:
Brown rice, Veggies and salad again, little portion of curry and rice noodles.
I've put extra serving of brown rice because I have to really fill myself up for the long working hours ahead.

Cooking perfect brown rice still failed haha... (actually it's my dad who cooks the rice)
We are going to find Zojirushi rice cooker because I have seen from itsjudyslife it's what they use for their brown rice and it looks perfect and yummy. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/itsjudyslife?feature=results_main

Thank you Judy (Judith) and Benji of benjimantv for sharing your lives with us, you both are one of the inspiration for my healthy living =)

This is the raw brown rice

This is it's brand, which we bought from SM supermarket and it costs around 170pesos if I'm not mistaken =)

Some pictures when we ate again at Cafe Dolce at Banawe corner Del Monte QC.....

Clubhouse sandwhich

Broccoli soup with puff pastry

Egg salad roll

Brown rice

So who can say that eating healthy limits you from eating yummy stuffs?
 noooo one (~^,)

Onlineshop

HI  !

I wanna share with you guys an online shop named:  www.aionlineshop.com.ph

They sell their items at a very low price, retail and wholesale have the same price though, but  even their shipping fee is affordable, and no minimum quantity or amount to be purchased. They even offer free shipping with a purchase of 1000php and above (as of December 30,2012 until further notice).

Anyways just browse at their website and see if you will also find stuffs you like... They always have new items I keep track of their new items by liking their facebook page Ai Fashion. That way I can always be updated with their new items and be one of the first to buy those super affordable and trendy stuffs.

From the hundreds of stuffs they sell I personally like their accessories and some of their office supplies. If you are a shopper at 168 mall then you would probably enjoy shopping at aionlineshop, without the traffic and hassle of bumping into the crowds of divisoria.

But here are my tips for a faster transaction with them. Always give them the exact amount deposited and also the date when you paid for your orders. The sooner you inform them the faster your orders will arrive at your door, oh I forgot to mention they ship your orders via LBC.

Hope you would enjoy shopping like I did !

Bargain finds #1

Oh emm geee!

Its the BER months...  and the count down to Christmas and new year is starting already =)

So where to go for great finds as gifts to yourself, for the family and friends?

Well well well, here in the Philippines they are not hard to find... really...

We have lots of tiangge or bazaar's where you could haggle for the lowest prices ever...

The most well known tiangge here in Manila is the 168 shopping mall Divisoria, where there are lots of stalls to buy from, varying from foot wear, fashionable clothes & accessories/ trinkets, gadgets & different accessories for it, unique and uber-cute house hold items & decor, school & office supplies, some sports/ hobby items, furnitures, fixtures, lightings, and other miscellaneous stuffs too. It's like an all in one stop shop. I don't think that the shops there accept credit cards, so be ready with your cash or ATM cards (there are ATM machines in the mall). Parking space is limited, you can opt to park at Tutuban mall or someplace else and just walk to 168.

The second is Greenhills shopping centre in San Juan City, with my experience I prefer to buy most stuffs in 168 because it is cheaper. But the great thing about Greenhills is that most shops there accept credit cards (just be careful). There are lots of imitations/ class A products, over-runs and Philippine made products. One can also find modern restaurants and cinemas there =)

Other places you can find Tiangge: St. Francis Square near SM Megamall in Ortigas, Tiendesitas in Pasig (you can ride the free shuttle from Greenhills mall) and Market market in Taguig...

Let me share to you my  First Bargain find this September 2012

I bought this super cute PJ's along Roman Street, the narrow street where one usually passes from Tutuban mall going to 168 mall or vice versa =)

See the details... super cute and colorful owls
*sorry for the yellowish tone of the picture*

It's super soft and it is made in the Philippines...

One can buy 2 PJ's for Php190 only....
And if one opts to buy only one it costs Php100...
No more haggling down because it is already at its lowest price =)
