Bargain finds #1

Oh emm geee!

Its the BER months...  and the count down to Christmas and new year is starting already =)

So where to go for great finds as gifts to yourself, for the family and friends?

Well well well, here in the Philippines they are not hard to find... really...

We have lots of tiangge or bazaar's where you could haggle for the lowest prices ever...

The most well known tiangge here in Manila is the 168 shopping mall Divisoria, where there are lots of stalls to buy from, varying from foot wear, fashionable clothes & accessories/ trinkets, gadgets & different accessories for it, unique and uber-cute house hold items & decor, school & office supplies, some sports/ hobby items, furnitures, fixtures, lightings, and other miscellaneous stuffs too. It's like an all in one stop shop. I don't think that the shops there accept credit cards, so be ready with your cash or ATM cards (there are ATM machines in the mall). Parking space is limited, you can opt to park at Tutuban mall or someplace else and just walk to 168.

The second is Greenhills shopping centre in San Juan City, with my experience I prefer to buy most stuffs in 168 because it is cheaper. But the great thing about Greenhills is that most shops there accept credit cards (just be careful). There are lots of imitations/ class A products, over-runs and Philippine made products. One can also find modern restaurants and cinemas there =)

Other places you can find Tiangge: St. Francis Square near SM Megamall in Ortigas, Tiendesitas in Pasig (you can ride the free shuttle from Greenhills mall) and Market market in Taguig...

Let me share to you my  First Bargain find this September 2012

I bought this super cute PJ's along Roman Street, the narrow street where one usually passes from Tutuban mall going to 168 mall or vice versa =)

See the details... super cute and colorful owls
*sorry for the yellowish tone of the picture*

It's super soft and it is made in the Philippines...

One can buy 2 PJ's for Php190 only....
And if one opts to buy only one it costs Php100...
No more haggling down because it is already at its lowest price =)
