Hong Kong Disneyland

Welcome to Hong Kong Disneyland

I have here some pictures taken by my Samsung digital camera ( I wish I have a Digital SLR, so I can take more good quality pictures and share to you) during my visit and gladly share to you my insights and recommendations to enjoy your stay at HKG Disneyland.

My mom & I purchased a tour package to HKG for a 3 days 2 nights stay in Royal View Hotel. And we stayed 2 more nights at a relatives house.

The Marching Band near sleeping beauty's castle, this is also where you can see the fireworks display at night. Let me tell you something about the fireworks display aside from the fireworks it has accompanying music and kinda like a theme story for every display, it is a must see attraction, you  really don't wanna miss this because your trip to Disney wouldn't be complete without it I assure you. If I'm not mistaken it starts at 7:30 or 8 pm. And after that you still have plenty of time to visit the souvenir shops which are located all around the theme park.
**When using your credit card you can tell the cashier if you opt to use the exchange rate in Peso in your transaction.**

The moving Hippo at the Jungle River Cruise Ride, one boat may carry 10-20 persons, there are lines that will let you choose to ride with a English speaking  or a Cantonese speaking narrator/commentator throughout the ride.

The ride is super cool, because you will feel like you really are in a jungle cruise.
The most exciting part of the ride for me, is at the latter part where you can witness the "bursting water" effect from the river (left part of the boat ride), the display of fire flames (right part of the boat ride) and the final mist that looks like smoke to end the fantastic ride.

See Tarzan and Jane at their tree house by hopping on a wooden raft ride and walking up the stairs to their humble abode. The tree house is surrounded by the Jungle River Cruise which made it more breathtaking and realistic.

Walking along the winding paths in adventure land I saw a man with a broom, you may conclude that this man may be sweeping the floor right? But alas no, He had drawn many Disney characters like Stitch, Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Minnie, Chip and Dale.

My mom insists that we ride the Around the world or It's a small world children's boat ride (I forgot the name). At first I don't feel like it because it's for kids I will not enjoy it because most kiddie rides only makes me dizzy.
Fortunately this ride is actually a family ride, I get to enjoy the amazing animated dolls and stuffs in there. Fantastic combination of lights and sounds. I even heard the It's a small world song in Filipino & Chinese version. If I were a child riding this it would be like a magical dream.

Space mountain is an indoor roller coaster. The ride starts with a very dark area and lifts you up slow motion in 45 degrees then lights starts to show up, it's a black hole type scenario. I prefer to sit upfront or at the second row because I get dizzy sitting at the back for I can not see where we are moving next. This is a very fast ride and the only lights inside looks like outer space, the sound effects is perfect for a galaxy mission.
At the end of the ride don't forget to open your eyes wide, try to straighten your neck and flash that smile for the camera.

Mickey Waffle time.I chose the strawberry syrup, there's also a chocolate one.

Coming soon: The Haunted Mansion ride

Disney Fountain at night, look at mickey on a surf board.
